APPLE VALLEY, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> Two people were injured with one person airlifted after a sliver car flew off the freeway Saturday afternoon. Drove around 100 feet off of the freeway.

California Highway Patrol, Apple Valley Fire Department, received calls just before 2:15pm Saturday afternoon October 17, 2020. The call was a single vehicle crash on northbound Interstate 15 at Quarry Road, about a mile after Stoddard Wells Rd exit.

A vehicle is reported to have crashed into the center divider then over all the lanes then crash through a fence. Landing down the embankment onto Quarry Rd.

The vehicle involved in the crash was a Sliver Honda Accord.

Two people were inside the vehicle both were injured in the crash. One person was flown by CHP #82 to an Loma Linda University Medical Center in unknown condition. The other person was transported by ground ambulance to a local hospital also unknown condition.

For unknown reasons the driver lost control and crashed off the freeway.

This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol Victorville Office.

CHP says additional information will be updated as it becomes available.
