Traffic Advisory Saturday For Northbound 15 In The Cajon Pass Due To Traffic To Wrightwood

WRIGHTWOOD, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> Snow playing in Wrightwood at Mountain High after Monday winter snow storm. Flatlanders are coming up to play in the snow today.

11am a Traffic Advisory is issued for Highway 2 and Northbound 15 before Hwy 138. Traffic starts at Kenwood Avenue in the Cajon Pass Saturday morning.

Give yourself extra time and patients to arrive to your destination. Don’t tailgate and don’t attempt to pass illegally. California Highway Patrol says, “Arrive Alive!”

Drivers that stop on the freeway or highways for any reason other than an emergency will be ticketed by the CHP. Please don’t stop for selfies or to let your children play in the snow next to a freeway or the highway, it’s not safe and it’s dangerous.

Here is some times to avoid the traffic:

Times to avoid Highway 2 going to Wrightwood is 8am to 5pm, avoid time to leave Wrightwood is from 2pm to 8pm.

Times to avoid Hwy 138 going to Hwy 2 is 9am to 4pm then going back down to the 15 freeway is 2pm to 9pm.

Also Northbound 15 will start backing up at the Hwy 138 off ramp. Watch for STOPPED vehicles on the off ramp or the freeway.

Use alternate routes if possible. 30 minutes to over a hour + delay time can happen this afternoon.

Bring your patience, Please. Don’t need road rage for something petty.
