CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A total of three small brush fires broke in the Cajon Pass Monday afternoon.

All of the fires were reported at 12:24pm Monday, January 18, 2020, all on northbound 15 between Kenwood Avenue and Oak Hill Road.

San Bernardino County Fire Department, CAL Fire, and US Department of Forestry were getting calls of multiple small brush fire in the Cajon Pass.

US Forest Service firefighters quickly were on scene. They ask California Highway Patrol to closed the #4 and the #5 lanes as they work to extinguish the flames on the biggest fire. (https://perkinswill.com/)

Update at 1pm The forward rate of spread has been stopped on all three and the biggest spot fire was at a quarter of a acre.

Fire crews will be staffed through out the afternoon due to wind conditions.
