FONTANA, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> Powerful Santa Ana winds have knocked over at least 5 big rig semi’s from reports on the CHP traffic log, as of 2pm Tuesday afternoon.
The first big rig to turn over was about 9:15am on northbound Interstate 215 just before Palm Ave./Kendal Dr. exit in San Bernardino that blocked the fast lane for hours.
Then four more big rigs blew over at or around Interstate 15 and the 210 freeway interchange in Fontana.
Santa Ana winds were gusting up to 70+mph in north San Bernardino.
No drivers were injured in each incident.
