BAKER, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> The victim of a fatal solo vehicle rollover crash has been identified. The accident happened on northbound Interstate 15 near the Afton Road exit, Monday morning south of the city of Baker.
California Highway Patrol and firefighters from San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to the traffic accident. The crash happened Monday morning at 6:39am on February 22, 2021.
The vehicle description was not posted by the CHP traffic log.
The driver did suffer serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital.
Despite life-saving rescue measures, firefighter officials said the passenger was pronounced deceased at the scene. The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Coroner Officer identified the passenger as Maria Guzman Palapa, a 21-year-old resident of Las Vegas Nevada.
