FONTANA, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A big rig semi car hauler caught fire on northbound Interstate 15 Freeway at the Duncan Canyon Road off ramp Thursday evening.
California Highway Patrol, San Bernardino County Fire Department firefighters were getting calls of a big rig car hauler with 3 vehicles on the trailer on fire just before 5:21pm, Thursday April 29, 2021. CHP and firefighters had to temporary block the Duncan Canyon Rd. off ramp while they worked on getting the vehicle fire put out.
According to the CHP traffic logs, it was stated fire was coming from the rear breaks on the big rig trailer were on fire. The driver did escape the big rig before it became fully engulfed. No injuries were reported at the scene. The cause of the big rig fire is unknown at this time.
