HARVARD, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> The California Highway Patrol said a male driver was killed when his vehicle went off the freeway rolled over and crashed on southbound Interstate 15.
California Highway Patrol and firefighters were called to a crash about 7:04am on Sunday morning May 23, 2021. The incident was reported on southbound Interstate 15 before Alvord Mountain Road between the city of Baker and Barstow. The male driver has been ID as 19-year-old Troy Matthew Yoda of Victorville, California. He was driving in his Honda on southbound Interstate 15. His vehicle reported left the roadway in the center median rolled over and landed on the roof in a dirt wash.
Troy was found unresponsive, shortly after they pronounced the driver deceased at the scene. This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol Barstow Office. CHP says additional information will be updated as it becomes available.
