CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A very small brush fire was quickly extinguish on southbound Interstate 15/215 split of the Cajon Pass Tuesday afternoon.
This fire was reported about 3:35pm Tuesday, June 8, 2021, between the southbound 15 freeway transition ramp to the 215 freeway on the shoulder. San Bernardino County Fire Department, and US Department of Forest Service were getting calls of a small brush fire in the Devore area of the Cajon Pass.
SB County Fire Department and US Forest Service firefighters were quickly were on scene. The fire out in 20 minutes and the size was a 50 by 30 foot spot fire that burned. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
