CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A male motorcyclist injured in an accident in the Cajon Pass Monday afternoon.
California Highway Patrol and San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to the incident. The vehicle involved in the crash was a burgundy VW Jetta and a blue Harley-Davidson. The crash was reported about 4:37pm, Monday June 28, 2021, on northbound Interstate 15 just before Highway 138 exit.
The rider was ejected and landed in the #1 and #2 traffic lanes. CHP temporarily shut down lanes for about 30 minutes for the cleanup and to transport the rider. The motorcyclist was transported by ambulance with injuries. Good news from a witness saying he was awake and alert. There’s no word on the biker’s condition or what may have led to the crash. This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol Inland Office.
