CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A big rig tractor-trailer plowed into a dirt embankment Monday morning after the driver may have lost his brakes on the rig and trailers. On Interstate 15 at the Highway 138 overcross bridge California Highway Patrol said.
California Highway Patrol was getting calls of an overturned big rig. The crash took place Monday morning July 19, 2021 at about 11am, southbound I-15 at the Highway 138 bridge. The big rig and set of double trailers flipped over on its side and landed on the dirt embankment off the right side of the freeway.
The driver was transported by ambulance with injuries. There’s no word on the his condition or what may have led to the crash. This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol Inland Office.
