SAN BERNARINO, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A pedestrian killed after he was hit by by two cars near downtown San Bernardino Friday night.
The incident happened around 10:11pm on southbound Interstate 215 near the Highland Avenue exit. According to the California Highway Patrol Traffic log, the male pedestrian was wearing no shirt, gray shorts and was walking in the slow lane towards the center divider. Minutes later a passing white Dodge Charger hit the pedestrian then a black Volkswagen Jetta also hit the pedestrian. Both motorist involved in the incident remained on the scene and were cooperating with investigators.
When CHP arrived on the scene, they found a male pedestrian that was hit and found unresponsive in the #2 and #3 lanes. Shortly after they pronounced the pedestrian deceased at the scene. This incident is currently under investigation by the California Highway Patrol San Bernardino Inland Office. Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to call (909) 383-4247.
