CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) Cajon
Maintenance crew will conduct traffic control for asphalt grind and paving project on State Route Highway 138 (Phelan side) west of I-15 in Cajon Junction.
Roadwork will take place Monday night September 27th and Tuesday night September 28th from 8:30pm and conclude at 5am* each night. These operations will require the closure of the westbound Hwy 138 plus the southbound Interstate 15 on ramp. Also the closure will impact eastbound Hwy 138 #1, #2 lanes and right shoulder. Expect Delays (see map below)
*Lanes may open earlier or later if they have a problem. The work schedule will be subject to change due to weather or construction-related issues. Always reduce your speed through the work zone.
