SAN BERNARDINO, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A pedestrian was struck and killed by a driver along I-215 just after Palm Avenue/Kendall Drive exit Sunday morning, prompting a closure of the northbound lanes.

California Highway Patrol were called to the scene at about 2:09am Sunday morning October 3, 2021. When officers and medical crews arrived, they found the crash involved a vehicle and a pedestrian. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. Their identity hasn’t been released.

The white Nissan Altima that hit the pedestrian did stay at the scene and was cooperating with the investigation, CHP said. This incident is currently under investigation by the California Highway Patrol San Bernardino Inland Office.
