LLANO, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A small brush fire that sparked near Highway 138 by 263rd Street Thursday evening was quickly extinguish about 2 acres, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
California Highway Patrol, Los Angeles County Fire Department, San Bernardino County Fire Department, and CAL Fire firefighters were getting calls of a fire off of Highway 138. The fire was reported about 5:50pm Thursday, October 21, 2021. The fire was caused by a vehicle fire that had stopped in the brush, off of the north side of Hwy 138 and west of 263rd Street and spread to nearby brush. No structures were immediately threatened and no injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
