BAKER, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> One person from a sliver Toyota Camry who died in a solo-vehicle crash Saturday night.
California Highway Patrol and firefighters from San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to the traffic crash. The fatal incident happened about 5:15pm Saturday October 23, 2021, on northbound Interstate 15 about 3 miles after the Zzyzx Road exit when the car lost control to the right and overturned off the freeway and landed on its side.
The San Bernardino County Sheriff-Coroner’s Office responded and a person was pronounced deceased at the scene. Investigators were not immediately to determine why the vehicle rolled from the roadway.
This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol Barstow Office. Additional details were limited. It’s unclear if drugs or alcohol contributed to the crash. Authorities have not yet identified the person who was killed. The Barstow CHP asked any witnesses or anyone with information regarding this collision to call (760) 255-5900.
