CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> Two people were injured in a solo motorcycle accident Tuesday, on Interstate 15 between Kenwood Avenue and Cleghorn Road exit in the Cajon Pass, according to California Highway Patrol.

CHP and firefighters from San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to the accident. The accident was reported at about 10:50am, Tuesday November 2, 2021. The accident location was on northbound Interstate 15 about 2 miles after Kenwood Ave. exit. When officers arrived on the scene they found a motorcycle on its side with two people on the ground blocking the three left traffic lanes. The male rider (driver) appeared to have a broken leg with unknown injuries and the female passenger appeared to have unknown injuries at that time.

From what a witness stated, the rider (driver) of the motorcycle lost control for unknown reasons. Both the rider and the passenger from the bike were transported by ground ambulance to a local hospital with unknown injuries. This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol San Bernardino Office. Additional details were limited at this time.
