FONTANA, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) continues work on a $4.2 million bridge resurfacing project on Interstate 15 and Interstate 215. The project spans from Ontario at Jurupa Street to the Oak Hill Road overcrossing in Hesperia on the I-15, and on the I-215 in San Bernardino from University Parkway to Palm Avenue. The contractor will be performing bridge deck resurfacing and joint seal replacement.
This weeks roadwork will be on Friday and Saturday night, November 5 and November 6.
- I-15 north and southbound will have lanes closed in two-mile segments between Duncan Canyon Rd. and Kenwood Avenue/ Interstate 215 in Devore.
- Three lanes of five lanes and three of four lanes will be closed during the roadwork. One to two lanes will be open to traffic.
- Lane closure hours from 10pm to 10am each night.
On and off ramps in the vicinity may be subject to closure.
Motorists are advised to plan ahead and use the 210 freeway as a detour to avoid the closures and major delays. Add extra time to your trip during the work hours.
The project is expected to be complete in early 2022. Schedules are subject to change due to inclement weather or construction issues.
