HESPERIA, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> The California Highway Patrol is investigating an overturned semi crash that caused substantial traffic delays Friday morning.
CHP and San Bernardino Fire Department received calls of a crash. It was reported on northbound Interstate 15 about a half of mile before the Bear Valley Road exit. The crash happened at about 3:52am Friday on April 22, 2022.
For reasons still under investigation, the semi driver veered off the right shoulder of the freeway into the drainage ditch and overturned. No injuries were reported at the scene.
The slow lane was blocked for over 5 hours. Traffic was backed up for about 8 miles due to multiple tow trucks to retrieve the cargo container and semi. There are no other details released. This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol Victorville Office. CHP says additional information will be updated as it becomes available.
