HESPERIA, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> No one was injured when a semi tractor-trailer went into a ditch on northbound Interstate 15 Saturday Morning.
California Highway Patrol and San Bernardino Fire Department responded to the traffic collision. They reported the crash at about 4:22am Saturday May 14, 2022, on northbound 15 in Hesperia. The semi driver reportedly drifted into the right shoulder into the ditch about a mile away from the Bear Valley Rd exit. From what the CHP traffic log stated the driver detached the cab from the trailer then became stuck.
CHP and the tow company needed to close the slow lane so they could move the semi and the trailer out of the ditch. Traffic was backed up to Main Street.
