HESPERIA, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >>The California Highway Patrol Office says a pickup truck pulling a boat jammed traffic on 4th of July weekend after it struck the k-rail.

The crash happened at about 3:24pm Friday July 1, 2022. The location was on northbound Interstate 15 at the Highway 395 exit. California Highway Patrol, and San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to the traffic crash involving a burgundy Toyota Tundra pickup truck pulling a boat on a trailer.

The pickup truck reportedly lost control hit the k-rail and jackknifed sending the boat off of the trailer onto the traffic lanes.

The two lanes were blocked for over an hour to remove the boat and get the truck off of the k-rail. Traffic at one point was backedup over 5 miles.

This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol Victorville Office. CHP says additional information will be updated as it becomes available.
