HESPERIA, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> No injures were reported after a chain-reaction crash on Interstate 15 in Hesperia on Monday morning.

The California Highway Patrol said the series of collisions started when a total of five vehicles collided and then two more crash in the traffic backup. The fast lane was blocked with three vehicles with heavy damage.

The crash occurred at approximately at 6:55am, Monday July 11, 2022. It was located on southbound Interstate 15 just before Oak Hill Road offramp. California Highway Patrol and the San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to a traffic collision involving five vehicles then two more in the backup. No injures were reported in both crashes. Traffic was backup for miles and over a hour for the clean up and to remove some of the vehicles.

This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol Victorville Office. CHP said additional information will be updated as it becomes available. Details were limited at this time.
