PHELAN, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A single vehicle rollover accident on Highway 138 earlier Friday morning in Phelan.
The crash happened about 2:46am Friday July 29, 2022. About a mile from Interstate 15 at the sharp turn of the highway. The crash was on the Hesperia side of Hwy 138. California Highway Patrol, and San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to accident.
The driver of the red Chevrolet Corvette was able to get out and was not injured.
For reasons still under investigation, the vehicle lost control, hit the side of the embankment rolled over on its side. The vehicle was the only one involved in the crash. The incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol Inland Office. CHP says additional information will be updated as it becomes available.
