MOUNTAIN PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A solo-vehicle rollover crash along Interstate 15 near Nipton Road offramp sent two people to the hospital Wednesday afternoon, with one having to be airlifted due to extensive injuries.
California Highway Patrol, Clark County Fire Department, and San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to the traffic crash involving a white sedan. The crash took place about 3:37pm August 10, 2022 near Nipton Rd. in the northbound lanes center divider.
Rescue crews requested one medical helicopter to transport one victim. One person was transported by Mercy Air #7 near the scene to Las Vegas University Medical Center in unknown condition. The other person was transported by ground ambulance to a nearby hospital.
We will update this story with more information when the CHP’s preliminary accident report is available. Additional details were limited at this time. This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol Barstow Office.
