HESPERIA, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A rider was killed, one seriously injured in a crash involving a vehicle and two motorcycle Sunday morning, California Highway Patrol said.

California Highway Patrol and firefighters from San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to the traffic accident. The accident was reported at about 8:40am, Sunday August 28, 2022 on Highway 138 between Summit Valley Road and Hwy 173.

The CHP traffic log stated for unknown reasons the two motorcycle riders and a unknown vehicle made contact.

Rescue crews requested one medical helicopter to transport one of the two riders. The rider was transported by Mercy Air #22 near the scene to Loma Linda University Medical Center. Reportedly one adult patient did not survive his injuries and another adult rider was treated and transported to a local hospital in critical condition.
