HESPERIA, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A driver of a sedan was not injured Tuesday morning when the car rear ended a semi tractor-trailer on southbound Interstate 15 in the city of Hesperia, California Highway Patrol officials said.

California Highway Patrol and San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to the traffic collision involving a silver Nissan Altima sedan with major front-end damage and a semi tractor-trailer stated on the CHP traffic log. The crash took place at about 10:51am December 13, 2022 just after the Main Street exit on southbound I-15.

The driver of the Nissan and the driver of the semi were not injured.

According to officials, the semi was stopped in the right lane with multiple vehicles were also was stopped in the another two lanes due to a lane closure up ahead. The driver of the Nissan was reportedly driving at an unknown speed when he realized the vehicles were stopped ahead. Then he switched into a different lane but could not stop and rear ended the semi and went off to the right shoulder, CHP said.
