HELENDALE, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A crash on Highway 395 involving at least three vehicles, Airlifted one person and left a sedan overturn on its side Sunday morning.
The crash happened about 9:17am Sunday December 18, 2022, forced the closure of the northbound Highway 395 near Macon Road, California Highway Patrol reported.
CHP and San Bernardino Fire Department responded to the traffic crash involving a semi tractor trailer, pickup truck and a unknown sedan that rolled over multiple times landed on its side.
Rescue crews requested one medical helicopters to transport one of the two people trapped inside the sedan. One person was transported by Mercy Air #2 helicopter from the scene to Loma Linda University Medical Center in critical condition. The other person was rushed over by ground ambulance in unknown condition to a local hospital.
