HESPERIA, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will continue work on a $122 million project to rehabilitate and repave traffic lanes and ramps and upgrade the drainage systems in the center divider on Interstate 15 in San Bernardino County. This project will not add a extra lane to the freeway or for a train.

Be Advised: A traffic switch will take place on Wednesday January 12, north and southbound, within the construction zone. Use caution and slow down. Alternative lanes will be put into place. The will have two lanes to the left and two lanes to the right with a center guardrail around the repaving middle lane. They are repaving that lane for approximately 1 mile at a time. This new traffic pattern will go on for months from around Ranchero Rd to Highway 395. Expect Major Delays at night.

  • The NB 15 to the NB 395 connector closures will also be closed.
