HESPERIA, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A semi-truck trailer hauling bales of hay flipped on its side on a bridge over Interstate 15 early Thursday morning, shutting down a lane through the area for several hours.
At approximately 12:44am January 19, 2023, California Highway Patrol and firefighters from San Bernardino County Fire Department personnel were dispatched. The report was of an overturned trailer that landed on its side on the Main Street bridge over Interstate 15 in Hesperia.
It was not immediately clear what caused the trailer to overturn in the first place, and officials did not initially confirm whether anyone was hurt.
We will update this story with more information when the CHP’s preliminary accident report is available. Additional details were limited at this time. This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol Victorville Office.
