California Highway Patrol and San Bernardino County Fire Department were getting calls of a dark blue Ford F-350 pickup truck on fire. The vehicle was located about one mile after the Oak Hills Road exit in the right shoulder. The truck fire happened on Sunday about 1:21pm April 21,2023. California Highway Patrol and firefighters were on the scene and had to temporarily shut down the slow lane while they worked on getting the vehicle fire put out.

Traffic backup quickly and firefighters had the fire out in about a half of a hour. Everybody did escape the vehicle before it became fully engulfed. The driver and passenger were able to remove the three vehicle that were on the trailer before they were fully engulfed in flames. No injuries were reported at the scene. The cause of the vehicle fire is unknown at this time.
