BAKER, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A roll-over crash near the town of Baker, claimed the life of a 62-year-old Los Angeles man last Friday.
The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Office said the victim, Kenneth Nelson, a 62-year-old resident of Los Angeles, was driving northbound on Interstate 15 just before 2am Friday June 16, 2023.
He left the roadway at some point about 5 miles from the Cima Road exit. Then the vehicle rolled over multiple times in the center divider and was ejected from the vehicle.
Rescue workers attempted life-saving measures, but Nelson was pronounced deceased at the scene officials said. No other vehicles were involved in the crash, which remains under investigation by the California Highway Patrol Barstow Office.
