HESPERIA, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A fatal two vehicle crash occurred Sunday morning between two cars on Highway 138. (Photo above is credit by Garrett Fuhrman)
California Highway Patrol and firefighters from San Bernardino County Fire Department were called to the crash scene on Sunday about 4:18am July 23, 2023. The crash scene was on Highway 138 near Little Horsethief Canyon Road.
According to CHP Traffic Log, the two vehicle involved in the crash were between a white Mercedes-Benz C-Class and a dark gray Chevrolet Camaro car with both having major front-end damage.
Recuse workers rendered aid to everybody involved. There were no initial reports on how many people were transported to Desert Valley Hospital. Sadly at least one person succumbed to their injuries sustained in the collision.
There identity will be withheld pending next of kin notification.
We will update this story with more information when the CHP’s preliminary accident report is available. Additional details were limited at this time. This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol Victorville Office.
