The California Highway Patrol arrived on the scene about 10:50pm on July 29, 2023. A section of Interstate 15 between Highway 138 and Oak Hill Road exits was briefly closed in the wake of the crash.
The vehicles involved were reported on the CHP traffic log was a white SUV with passenger side damage and a semi with driver side damage.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation, but alcohol could be suspected to be a factor, stated on the CHP traffic log. Additional details were limited at this time. This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol Inland Office.
