California Highway Patrol and San Bernardino County Fire Department said they received a call of a vehicle fire that happened on northbound Interstate 15 at the Highway 395 exit offramp.
Motorist said they saw the box truck start smoking and then burst into flames just after 12pm on August 4, 2023, the vehicle involved was reported to be a white box truck blocking the #3 lane in the construction area.
Flames were coming from the engine compartment and quickly spread to the cargo box. Everybody did escape the vehicle before catching fire.
