CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is alerting the public that construction contractors will perform night work on Interstate 15 in San Bernardino.
Nighttime work will occur Monday, August 7 through Friday August 11, from 7pm to 5am* Friday work will end Saturday morning. Work performed will include Northbound and Southbound Unsound Checking at various locations, including truck bypass locations. On Interstate 15. Closures will vary from 1 lane to 3 lanes during the night. Please note, various lane and connector closures will occur in the project zone. Work performed will include deck rehabilitation, polyester concrete overlay, methacrylate, replace bridge rail, replace joint seals, approach slabs, repair soffit. All work is dependent on contractor receiving proper materials for each job function. It can be changed or canceled at any time. The following are planned work and closure locations:
- Interstate 15 from 210 freeway to Summit Ave.
Northbound & Southbound Alternating Lane Reductions & Lane Closures - Interstate-15 from Cleghorn Rd to Oakie Flats Rd.
Northbound & Southbound Alternating Lane Reduction & Lane Closures. - Interstate 15 to Interstate 215 Truck Bypass Lanes
Northbound Full Closure. - Connector Closures
Southbound 15 to Eastbound 210-Connector Closure.
Southbound 15 to Westbound 210-Connector Closure.
Eastbound 210 to Northbound 15- Connector Closure.
Westbound 210 to Northbound 15-Connector Closure.
Southbound 15 to Westbound 210-Connector Closure.
*Times can subject to change and could go longer or start earlier. On and off ramps may be subject to closure. Please use caution and remember to reduce your speed when approaching and driving through the construction zones.
