The four-vehicle collision occurred in the northbound lanes about 5:23am Friday August 18, 2023. According to the California Highway Patrol report. The drivers of a white semi-truck, a blue semi-truck, a white Subaru Forester and a grey Toyota Tundra pickup truck were involved.

The initial crash involved the white Subaru and the white semi-truck. The semi-truck reportedly crashed into the center divide and landed on top of the guardrail blocking both the southbound and northbound fast lanes of the I-15 Freeway.

Meanwhile, the Subaru became pinned next to the white semi. The blue semi-truck also involved, but was still drivable and pulled to the right shoulder. The Tundra suffered major front-end damage in the collision with the others.

CHP issued a SigAlert for roughly two hours due to the roadway being blocked by vehicles and debris. Tow trucks removed the damaged semi as well as the Subaru and the Tundra pickup truck.

The semi damaged roughly 60 feet of the guardrail in the center divider.

Additional details were limited at this time. This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol Inland Office.
