California Highway Patrol and the fire Department said they received a call of a vehicle fire that happened on southbound Interstate 15 in the middle lane. At around 8:36am on August 20, 2023, a dark blue Ford Fusions sedan was reported on fire in the middle of the freeway in lanes.
Flames were coming from the engine compartment. Everybody did escape the vehicle before catching fire.
Crews managed to control the blaze with help from the CHP blocking all southbound lanes. There has been no word on any injuries.
