California Highway Patrol and the fire Department said they received a call of a vehicle fire that happened on northbound Interstate 15 before the Bailey Road exit. At around 7:55pm on August 29, 2023, a Toyota Camry sedan was reported on the right shoulder of the freeway.
Flames were coming from the engine compartment. Everybody did escape the vehicle before catching fire.
Crews managed to control the blaze, but the flames did catch nearby brush. There was no injuries in this incident.
