APPLE VALLEY, CA. (Pain in the Pass) >> A motorcyclist was involved in a solo crash on Interstate 15 and was airlifted Friday afternoon.
The crash was reported about 2:05pm, Friday September 1, 2023. The crash happened on northbound Interstate 15 about a mile after Dale Evan Parkway exit. California Highway Patrol and firefighters from San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to a motorcycle down. From the CHP traffic log stated the motorcycle rider and bike was laying down in the center divider.
Firefighters rendered aid to the injured motorcyclist. Then they requested a helicopter to transport the injured rider with unspecified injuries besides major road rash. The rider was transported by Mercy Air #66 from the scene to Loma Linda Medical Center. The cause of this crash is unknown at this time.
