HESPERIA, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A motorcycle rider has sustained injuries after colliding into a vehicle Friday night on Highway 138.

The crash was reported about 8:13pm, on Friday September 22, 2023 on Highway 138, near Summit Post Office Road.  California Highway Patrol and firefighters from San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to the traffic collision involving a red Toyota Yaris sedan and a street style motorcycle.

The motorcycle rider and the Toyota made contact, the rider was then thrown from the motorcycle landed in the right shoulder. The Toyota reportedly had damage to the driver side door has result of the collision.

The rider of the motorcycle had life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital.

CHP are still working to determine exactly how the crash happened. The Toyota driver had minor injuries.
