MOUNTAIN PASS, CA (Pain In The Pass) >> A motorcyclist was flown to Las Vegas University Medical Center on Monday for injuries suffered in a solo motorcycle collision.
Officials said the crash occurred just after 6pm, Monday October 23, 2023 on northbound I-15 at Nipton Road exit near Stateline. A unknown description of color or type of bike.
The motorcycle rider suffered major injuries after crashing. The rider was reported to be stabilized at the scene by firefighter paramedics and requested a medical helicopter to transport.
Mercy Air 7 helicopter landed on the freeway and flew the rider to the hospital for treatment.
.Authorities did not reveal what caused the crash. We will update this story with more information when the CHP’s preliminary accident report is available. Additional details were limited at this time. This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol, Barstow Office.
