HESPERIA, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> Black Friday traffic led to five separate crashes in the same area of Interstate 15 in Hesperia, cause a major traffic jam in a 3 hour span. (Photo above is credit by Lisa Garcia.)

The first incident was the largest on northbound Interstate 15 just after the Ranchero Road exit, at about 11:29 am on Friday, November 24, 2023. This incident involved four vehicles which included a gold Chrysler 300c sedan, a black Ford Explorer, a white Ford Flex, and a silver SUV. This blocked two traffic lanes for over a half an hour.

The second incident, happened around 11:55 am on northbound I-15 near Oak Hills Road and involved a Toyota Prius and several other vehicles.

The third incident reported at 12:23 pm was on northbound I-15 before Ranchero Rd and involved a black Honda Civic and a gold Honda vehicle.

The fourth incident was reported at 1:40 pm on southbound I-15 just before the Main St. exit. It involved a red Chevrolet Suburban and a black Ford F series pickup truck.

The fifth incident was reported at about 1:49 pm on northbound 15 just before the Oak Hill Road exit, and it involved a white Cadillac Escalade and a Black Toyota sedan.

No major injuries were reported in any of these crashes, according to CHP. At least two people were taken to a local hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
