Around 4:19pm February 3, 2024, California Highway Patrol officers responded to a crash in the northbound lanes of I-15 near Bear Valley Road exit. The collision involved two semi tractor trailers one was a white semi and the second one was a light blue semi.

It’s unknown what led up to the collision at this time. The blue semi had major front end damage.

Victorville City Fire Department and San Bernardino County Fire Department were called to the crash scene to help the driver of the blue semi. The driver sustained a leg injuries and was transported to Desert Valley Hospital. Then the driver was flown by San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Aviation helicopter H306 to Loma Linda Medical Center.

Two lanes were blocked for a hazmat spill of diesel fuel. Lanes were reopen by 5:30pm traffic was backup to Ranchero Road at one point.

We will update this story with more information when the CHP’s preliminary accident report is available. Additional details were limited at this time. This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol, Victorville Office.
