VICTORVILLE, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A pickup truck with a RV camper on top of the truck went off Interstate 15 and fell off, leaving two children seriously injured, authorities said. (Photo above is credit by Victor Valley News)

California Highway Patrol, firefighters from Victorville City Fire Department were called to the crash scene on Wednesday about 4pm March 27, 2024. The crash scene was on southbound I-15 about a mile after Stoddard Wells Road/Bell Mountain Rd. exit on the right shoulder.

The vehicles involved in the collision was a silver Dodge Ram pickup truck, that had a RV camper on top of the pickup bed.

For reasons still under investigation, the pickup truck driver veered off the right shoulder of the freeway into the open desert. The RV camper came off of the truck about 300 feet from the freeway.

Three people were injured in the wreck rescue crews said. They requested two medical helicopters to transport the two children from the camper. The male driver had a cut to his head.  

Mercy Air # 2 and Reach Air Medical #13 landed at the scene and transported the two children to Loma Linda University Medical Center with serious injuries.
