HIGH DESERT, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A Wind Advisory for Thursday morning until Friday. A Gusty Wind Event is for the mountains, Victor/Apple Valley, Lucerne Valley, and the Mojave Desert locations.
Southern California Weather Force Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory for the high desert. With winds blowing around 35-45 mph in the Victor/Apple Valley area. Parts of the Barstow area will have 35-45+ mph winds. Lucerne Valley area will have 40-50 mph winds. Mountains will have gust 30 to 40+ mph. Max wind gust will be 60 mph in spots.
Potential for hazardous crosswinds and blowing dust on Interstate 15 Barstow through Stateline NV as well as other area roadways.
The Wind Advisory should expire by Friday.
