HIGH DESERT, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A Wind Advisory for Saturday and all day on Sunday. A Gusty Wind Event is for the mountains, Victor/Apple Valley, Lucerne Valley, and the Mojave Desert locations.
A little weather system going over SoCal this morning bring cool temperatures and chance of light rain shower for the Cajon Pass area Inland Empire Valleys late Saturday night into Sunday morning.
Southern California Weather Force Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory for the high desert. With winds blowing around 40-50 mph in the Victor/Apple Valley area. Parts of the Barstow area will have 40-50+ mph winds. Lucerne Valley area will have 40-50 mph winds. Mountains will have gust 30 to 40+ mph. Max wind gust will be 60 mph in spots.
Potential for hazardous crosswinds and blowing dust on Interstate 15 from Barstow through Stateline NV as well as other area roadways.
The Wind Advisory should expire by Sunday night.
