HESPERIA, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> Fog, road construction, and driving too fast for conditions are being blamed for two multi-vehicle accidents Saturday morning, (Photo above is credit by Carlos Barahona)

California Highway Patrol and San Bernardino Fire Department received calls of a crash. The first crash was reported on northbound Interstate 15 just before Ranchero Road exit. The crash happened at about 7:24am Saturday on May 4, 2024.

The five vehicles involved in this crash were a white Tesla sedan, red Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck, a light blue Chrysler 300 4-door sedan, a white Dodge Ram pickup truck, a silver sedan unknown make stated on the CHP traffic log.

One person was transported by an ambulance to a local hospital with unknown injuries.

The second crash was reported on northbound I-15 before the Oak Hill Road exit about 7:52am. This collision was reported to be a four vehicle crash due to the first collision traffic backup and the foggy conditions.

The four vehicles involved were reported to be a Toyota sedan in the back of a semi, a black Kia Sportage, and a blue unknown sedan.

No injuries were reported in this collision.

Motorists should beware of “foggy conditions with low visibilities,” just slow down and have your lights on.
