SAN BERNARDINO, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> One person was killed in a three-vehicle accident on 215 Freeway in San Bernardino Wednesday afternoon. (Photo above is credit by Scott Babcock)

The crash happened around 1:23pm on Wednesday May 8, 2024, on southbound I-215 freeway just under the 210 Freeway. According to the California Highway Patrol, a box truck and white Nissan Versa and an unknown vehicle. On the CHP traffic log stated both vehicles collided with the box truck at freeway speeds for unknown reasons.

CHP officers and firefighters from San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to the traffic accident. On the traffic log stated the driver of the white Nissan was reported to be unresponsive and the passenger barely breath, both were trapped in the wreckages.

Firefighters rendered aid to the injured party. The driver was pronounced deceased on scene and the passenger was transported to a local hospital with undisclosed injuries.

No other injuries were reported.
