SAN BERNARDINO, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A brush fire erupted in the little Mountain area of San Bernardino Sunday afternoon. (Photo above is credit by OG Rudyy.)
This fire was reported at about 12:30pm Sunday, June 9, 2024. Located on North Little Mountain Drive near Edgehill Road. San Bernardino County Fire Department firefighters were quickly on scene. At 3pm the fire has been stopped at about 20 acres burned. Firefighters will remain in the area for mop-up operations for hours to make sure no hot spots flare up. Only Little Mountain Dr. was closed during the firefight.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. The fire is dubbed the Little Mountain IC.
