According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred on Northbound Interstate 15 just after the Ranchero Road exit, about 5:12am Sunday June 23, 2024.
It was reported the driver of a silver 4 door sedan abruptly changed lanes and hit a traffic hazard that was in lanes. The driver then lost control of their vehicle. The driver struck the side of a semi that was parked on the right shoulder of the freeway.
The driver of the sedan reportedly only had minor injuries.
