CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A driver lost control of their vehicle, striking a passing sedan in the Cajon Pass Sunday morning. (Photo above is credit by Michelle Dean)
California Highway Patrol and San Bernardino County Fire Department received calls of a two-vehicle crash blocking multiple lanes. The crash was reported to be on northbound Interstate 15 just after the Cleghorn Road exit. The collision happened at about 8:45am on Sunday, June 23, 2024.
The white Ford Fusion sedan and a gray Ford Fusion sedan were both heading north on I-15, approaching Cleghorn Rd at unknown speeds, one of the drivers lost control, and made contact with the other vehicle and hit the guardrail the CHP Traffic Log stated.
Traffic was jammed due to the gray Ford was disable in the fast lane. No injuries were reported.
